About D. Gentleman
The Bitizen known as Distinguished (or D.) Gentleman was actually created a few weeks back before I started this Tumblr account.
(Meet Javier Wells, the Bitizen that inspired D. Gentleman!)
The idea came after I spotted characters with moustaches and top hats. I thought it’d be fun to modify a Bitizen by giving him a handlebar moustache, monocle, and cane. I eventually had to fiddle around with the clothing colours as well since he reminded me of a pimp. :P
Incidentally, the D. Gentleman I’m using now is not the final version. .__. This is, in fact, the pimp-like version. Oh well. :3 (The final mod had him with more of a grey and white colour scheme.)
And yes, I know there’s a thin pinkish border around him. The reason is that the screenshot I used of Javier Wells had him standing in front of a pink sofa. As I am not all that familiar with GIMP and not very experienced with editing and reconstructing graphics, I was forced to leave the border in. :\
